Restaurants Coming To Syracuse, NY in 2018

Tom and Chee will no longer be moving into the space next to DiBella’s on Bridge Street in Dewitt. This is due to a lawsuit between the building owner and franchise owner (which has been recently dropped).
Instead, Flawless Image, will be taking over this space later in August. Flawless Image is a medical aesthetics company, specializing in body contouring, liposuction, and other services.
Canale’s Restaurant in Liverpool announced this past weekend on Facebook that August 20th is their new closing date. They previously expected to close in July.
Blaze Pizza, the fast growing quick-serve pizza shop chain backed by LeBron James, is reportedly looking for sites in Central New York. The company is on track for $1.1 billion in revenue by 2022.
According to a spokesman, they “do not have any sites under development yet, but territory has been awarded to an experienced multi-unit franchise partner who is actively looking for great real estate sites that meet their criteria”.
Besides a 24-lane bowling alley with couches and large projections screens, the entertainment venue will offer made-from-scratch dining, two full-service bars, private VIP areas, billiard tables and arcade games. The menu will be created by TMG Corporate Chef Brad Rishmany.
All-Star Alley & Tavern is expected to open later this month. A portion of sales each Sunday for the first month will be donated to to local charities and not-for-profit organizations.
As of last week, The Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery in Syracuse has officially closed its doors permanently. It opened up on Erie Boulevard back in 2014.
As announced earlier this week, Chick-fil-A is in the works to finally come to the CNY area.
A town official hopes to start the building process in April, on Route 11 in front of Home Depot in Cicero. The town of Cicero must pass the deal first, however.
Byrne Dairy is currently looking to replace a vacant Denny’s restaurant in the Tipp Hill area with a 4,232 square foot convenience store. This would be the 59th Byrne Dairy location. Read more details from Syracuse.com here.
It was announced Monday that Buffalo Wild Wings in Cicero (5671 E. Circle Drive) will be closing its doors this Sunday (3/19/2017). The BWW locations in Auburn and Camillus will, however, remain open.
