Consumer Cellular September 2016 Updates

Highlights from the September 2016 newsletter:

Bring Your Home Phone to Consumer Cellular For Free

  • You can convert your current home phone into an additional line on your CC account with the ZTE Wireless Home Phone Base
    • You can keep your same phone number and your same phone (they plug into the Home Phone Base)
    • This device lets you receive calls to your home phone using cellular service
    • You can take it anywhere you go and still receive calls made to your home phone (just need cellular service and an electrical outlet)
  • If you order from September 1st to October 15th, 2016 they will give it to you for free (a $50 value!)
  • Add a line on your existing Consumer Cellular account for just $10/month, which will let you share minutes on your Talk Plan with your new wireless home phone. Then, add the ZTE Wireless Home Phone Base to your order to get the device for free, including shipping (you will be charged sales tax where applicable)
J.D. Power Names Consumer Cellular #1 in Customer Service
  • In August, J.D. Power awarded CC “Highest in Customer Service Among Non-Contract Wireless Providers.”
    • This was based on the results of a nationwide study conducted earlier this year
    • Based on a 1,000 point scale, CC received a customer satisfaction score of 878 (88 points ahead of the next highest competitor!)
    • This is the first time CC has been honored by JD Power
  • The results were compiled for the J.D. Power 2016 Wireless Customer Care Study—Volume 2, which focuses on “the experiences of current customers who had contact with their carriers’ customer care departments from January through June 2016”

Best Choice for Sharing Minutes, Texts, and Data

  • With their affordable cellphone plans, you can let family and friends share minutes, text messages, and web data available on your monthly Talk Plan and Connect Plan for just $10/month per additional line
    • Free calls between all phones on the same Consumer Cellular account
    • An easy, budget-friendly way to stay connected

My experience with Consumer Cellular and its service has been great (have had the service for over a year). If you’re interested in signing up or learning more, let me know (contact me). Once you sign up, we’ll both get $20 in credit!
