Have you heard of CamelCamelCamel?
If not, CamelCamelCamel is simply an “Amazon price tracker that provides price drop alerts and price history charts for products sold by Amazon”.
It is a very useful money saving tool to have in your tool belt, with the ever changing prices on Amazon. This application does all of the work for you by monitoring price changes on products you’re interested in.
CamelCamelCamel shows you how the price of the item has gone up or down over time in a detailed graph (see above).
You can set up alerts so the site can notify you by email when the price of an item drops below a certain amount (see below).
Create a price watch and get email alerts when prices drop at Amazon
1. Find a product on Amazon. Copy the product’s URL from your browser’s address bar.
2. Go to camelcamelcamel.com (make sure you login first) and paste the URL from step 1 into the search bar at the top of the page and hit enter.
3. On the next page move your mouse over the price tag icon next to the price type you’re interested in (usually Amazon) then click on the -$0.01 link in the window that pops up. Next click “Start Tracking” in the same row.
You will now be emailed when the price of that product falls to the price you specified.
